UV cleaning, also known as ultraviolet cleaning or UV ozone cleaning, is a precise and clean dry cleaning method using UV energy that is suitable for high-definition product refinement. The short-wavelength light energy emitted by low-pressure mercury lamps at 184.9 nm and 253.7 nm has high potential and possesses strong energy capable of breaking down the bonds of organic contaminants generated during the high-definition substrate manufacturing process. At the same time, an oxidation reaction occurs on the substrate surface due to ozone generated from the ultraviolet lamp and air, causing organic contaminants to volatilize into carbon dioxide and moisture, thereby cleaning the substrate surface. ○ High brightness and uniform ultraviolet irradiation By adopting a specially shaped low-pressure mercury lamp, high brightness is achieved. The uniformity of brightness is secured within ±10%. ○ Accurate data collection is possible The irradiation distance from the lamp to the sample stage can be set in 10 mm increments, allowing experiments to be conducted at optimal brightness. ○ Ensuring a safe environment The design prevents ultraviolet light from leaking outside. (The viewing window of the main unit uses glass that does not transmit ultraviolet light.) The lamp automatically turns off when the door is opened for safety. An ozone decomposition and removal device is also available as an option.
