LECO's QuadJet SD combines the sensitivity of a flame ionization detector (FID) or other high-speed single-channel detectors (NCD, ECD, SCD) with the chromatographic separation capability of comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography (GCxGC), allowing for more accurate measurement of components in samples compared to conventional single GC analysis.
