CADIS / ADI processing (Austempered Ductile Iron Process) compliant with JIS FCD 1000A
It is equipment specialized for processing large products that are difficult to cool (quench), enabling the enhancement of high strength in cast iron products, starting with FCD materials.
**Overview of the Device** This device enables unmanned continuous operation through tray batch automatic transport and is equipped with a salt cooling tank that has high heat extraction capability, allowing for processing with very little distortion. Additionally, by changing the temperature of the salt, ADI processing of FCD is possible. The bainitic structure obtained from this processing has very high toughness, with tensile strength reaching up to 100 kgf/mm². **Features of the Device** The isothermal quenching furnace is suitable for unmanned continuous operation due to tray batch automatic transport and is equipped with a salt cooling tank, allowing for various heat treatments along with atmosphere heating that were not possible before. Furthermore, a preheating furnace is installed in the initial stage, reducing idle time. Since the insertion and extraction of processed items are fully automated, it excels in workability, safety, and cost-effectiveness. - The atmosphere gas can be freely changed, enabling diverse heat treatments. - The establishment of a preheating zone allows for efficient continuous operation. - Significant reduction in energy costs due to gas heating. - Equipped with a salt cooling layer, providing stable cooling performance.
