The "band heater" is a cylindrical heater used for heating the cylinder and nozzle parts of various injection molding machines. Its basic structure is the same as that of a space heater. As the name suggests, it has a large contact area due to being clamped from the outer circumference of the heating surface, making it an efficient heater. There are 1-piece (1P) and 2-piece (2P) types. The 2P type is mainly used when insertion from one end, such as with a cylinder, is difficult.
