The viscoelasticity measuring device, the Besmeter, was developed to measure the characteristics of the surface layer of the specimen, such as elasticity, viscosity, and hardness, with the aim of appropriately evaluating the properties of materials. Unlike conventional measuring devices, the measurement of viscoelasticity by the Besmeter is a patented technology that realizes the measurement of viscosity and elasticity as defined in physics. ● Features The Besmeter applies a slight deformation to the specimen with a constant force, and after removing that force, it directly and accurately measures the behavior of the indented specimen as it recovers. By performing waveform analysis based on the Voigt model, it calculates the elastic and viscous values.
