basic information
The "Ultra-thin Optical Encoder KE-210 Series" is an "optical encoder" that senses the speed and position of a detected object by blocking light emitted from a light-emitting element as the object passes through, with the ON/OFF signal being detected by a light-receiving element. - It is the thinnest in the industry (according to our research) at a height of 6.55 mm, which is about half the height of conventional products (compared to our products). - It can be operated at a low voltage of Vcc = 3.3V to 5V. - The resolution is high-performance at 1/150, 1/180, and 1/300 inches. (We are currently developing products with even higher resolution.) - It features a two-phase incremental digital output with A and B phases. - Since the components are manufactured in-house, we achieve both high performance and low prices.

Company information
1. Optical Sensing Related Optical sensors have a proven track record with major home appliance and industrial equipment manufacturers as core products, and we are advancing the development of optical, circuit, and mechanical designs to meet diverse sensing requirements. We are developing mixed-signal ICs that incorporate digital processing circuits, leveraging the features of fine sensing through 3D processing and sub-micron C-MOS wafer processes, resulting in compact, high-performance, high-value-added products. 2. Optical Media Related We have a wide range of products and a proven track record in CD/DVD technology. In response to market demands for high-speed and short-wavelength applications such as Next DVD, we are advancing the development of dedicated epitaxial equipment and processes for miniaturization. We plan to ship sample products of silicon photodetectors that utilize the quantum effects of ZnO/Si heterojunctions, which exhibit blue sensitivity and high-speed performance.
