When implementing small electronic components in a metal housing, we had requested a degreasing treatment for the metal to prevent deterioration of the electronic component packages. The "SG2A01-A" uses polyacetal resin (polyoxymethylene (POM)) for the parts in contact with the metal housing, eliminating the need for degreasing treatment. Additionally, in many cases, the installation positions vary for each device, and the way external light enters is also different, which required considerable effort for each device's adaptation. However, the "SG2A01-A" is equipped with a visible light cut filter, significantly reducing the time needed to consider installation positions for each model. The "SG2A01-A" features a double structure with an optical component package and an external package, preventing fine dust from entering the optical components. The "SG2A01-A" has a built-in 5-terminal output connector, making wiring processing after installation easier. It is designed to be lead-free and can accommodate both domestic and overseas specifications.

This is a transmissive photo interrupter with a distance of 13 mm between the light-emitting element and the light-receiving element. Traditionally, it has been technically difficult to maintain a distance of 10 mm or more between the light-emitting and light-receiving elements. However, Codenchi has solved this problem by using a high-power infrared LED for the light-emitting element and a high-sensitivity photo IC for the light-receiving element. (Both elements are Codenchi's own products.) In Japan, there is only one other company besides Codenchi that offers a transmissive photo interrupter with a distance of 10 mm or more between the light-emitting and light-receiving elements, due to technical difficulties. Among them, Codenchi has commercialized a transmissive photo interrupter with a distance of 13 mm. - It features a snap-in structure, allowing you to choose part numbers according to the thickness of the substrate. - Position detection characteristics can be supported for both the X-axis and Y-axis. - It is possible to select between dark-on and light-on modes. - An optical filter can be installed to prevent malfunction due to stray light.

At Corden, we have developed a new silicon photodetector using our unique technology. This newly developed photodetector achieves both high sensitivity and fast response simultaneously, and it also has high stability against blue-violet laser light. It is being mass-produced as the blue-violet compatible high-speed diode "PDZ702NB."

- With a chip size of 4.5 x 2.8 x 1.1 mm, the mounting area is only 12.6 square millimeters. This is the smallest mounting area. - Compared to other products, it is approximately 30% smaller in mounting area and over 50% smaller in volume. - The power supply voltage for operation is wide-ranging at 2.7V-5.5V, making it a multi-voltage type. - The current consumption is 1.3 mA/max, which is about 40% less compared to other products, making it suitable for portable devices. - The reach distance is the same as conventional products at 8 m/min.
