By preheating the ladle with a pure oxygen burner, we reduce preheating time and costs. The heat loss is minimal, and the preheating time is significantly shorter compared to conventional methods (oil burners). In particular, the conventional method made it impossible to install a cover (lid) on the ladle. By switching to a pure oxygen burner, it becomes possible to install a cover, which allows for improved thermal efficiency and higher preheating temperatures.
