Developed jointly by Kumamoto Red Cross Hospital, GK Design Co., Ltd., and Kawakami Industries Co., Ltd., it is part of the "QS72" series of emergency disaster comfort temporary spaces used during the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. Due to the need for temporary partitions in public spaces, medical settings, and shelters for COVID-19 infection control and privacy protection, QS-P is designed to accommodate a large number of installations simultaneously. The wall modules made of hollow rigid resin panels are lightweight, strong, and durable for repeated use. The simple tension structure allows for easy deployment. When stored, it can be folded flat to save space, enabling efficient storage. Additionally, its water resistance and chemical resistance to substances like alcohol make it effective in maintaining a hygienic environment.
