EASY-WET is a new product from Ashland, a U.S. company, and is a hydrocarbon-based wetting agent (surfactant) that can be used for various industrial coating applications such as wood, metal, automotive, industrial finishes, printing inks, and plastic coatings. <Main Features> - Excellent wettability (leveling ability) Compared to conventional hydrocarbon-based wetting agents or silicone-based wetting agents, it quickly reduces the contact angle and provides equal or superior performance. It achieves a smooth coating film when applied to substrates and can uniformly form a coating film even on the edges of the substrate. - Low foaming and formation of coatings with fewer craters In continuous stirring tests, it has been confirmed to foam less than conventional hydrocarbon-based, silicone-based, and fluorine-based wetting agents, allowing for the formation of coatings with fewer craters. - Biodegradable and low VOC The basic structure is composed of hydrocarbons, resulting in low environmental impact and biodegradability.
