The Sierra SPR-24Pro (Bruker) features 24 sensor spots, enabling high-throughput and rapid measurements from optimal condition exploration to evaluation of multiple samples. This article introduces Sierra SPR's unique kinetics analysis technology that does not use regeneration solutions, and presents kinetics analysis results of antibodies that exhibit very strong affinity, which have traditionally been difficult or time-consuming to analyze. Investigation of Odor Causes in Resin Materials through Odor Analysis

Our company conducts odor analysis to investigate the causes of strange odors in resin materials. By measuring polypropylene (PP) pellets with an anise-like odor using HS-GC/MS and analyzing the odor components with the "Aroma Office" database, we can provide data aimed at identifying the cause of the strange odor. In recent years, N-nitrosodimethylamine, a carcinogenic substance, has been detected in sartan-based pharmaceuticals. According to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's notification "Regarding Self-Inspection of the Risk of Nitrosamine Contamination in Pharmaceuticals (dated October 8, 2021)," nitrosamines in pharmaceuticals must be below the limit values, which requires the measurement of trace amounts of the relevant components. This document introduces a case of LC-MS/MS analysis (liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry) of standard samples of nine types of nitrosamines mentioned in the notification. ■ Analysis Samples - Standard samples of nine types of nitrosamines ■ Analysis Conditions - Equipment: AB SCIEX SCIEX QTRAP 5500 SYSTEM - Ionization Method: ESI positive ion mode - Measurement Mode: MRM ■ Analysis Results For each nitrosamine, peaks at a concentration of 1 ng/mL, necessary for evaluating the limit values, can be detected.
