Technical Information Magazine 202402-01 Surface Plasmon Resonance Method
Leveraging Sierra's high throughput, we established an accurate evaluation of slow dissociation antibody-antigen interactions using the SICK method and high-sensitivity HCP quantification through SPR.
The technical information magazine The TRC News provides the latest information on analytical techniques that are useful for research and development, solving production troubles, and quality control. **Abstract** The surface plasmon resonance (SPR) method is gaining attention for the analysis and evaluation of intermolecular interactions and quantification. The Sierra SPR-24Pro (Bruker) features 24 sensor spots, enabling high-throughput and rapid measurements from optimal condition exploration to evaluation of multiple samples. This article introduces Sierra SPR's unique kinetics analysis technology that does not use regeneration solutions, and presents kinetics analysis results of antibodies that exhibit very strong affinity, which have traditionally been difficult or time-consuming to analyze. Additionally, we report the development of a highly sensitive quantification method for Host Cell Proteins (HCP) using SPR. **Table of Contents** 1. Introduction 2. Kinetics Analysis 3. Quantification of HCP 4. Conclusion
