Aluminum anodizing with high current (high voltage) enables the creation of cast and die-cast products that are resistant to corrosion!

Generally, it is said that in order to anodize cast products and die-cast products, "the current and voltage must be increased" to achieve a sufficient film thickness. If the film thickness is uneven, corrosion will occur even after anodizing. Upon visual inspection of the samples, no discoloration such as rust was observed in any of the samples. [Aluminum Surface Treatment Problem Solving Case] Reduction of Wear on the Sliding Partner's Resin

Despite being hard anodized, it does not significantly impair surface roughness! The aggressiveness towards resin is reduced, allowing for an extension of component lifespan.

Currently, in the design of components, there is an increasing number of situations where aluminum and resin slide against each other. On the aluminum side, hard anodizing is often chosen as the surface treatment. However, the compatibility with the counterpart material, the geometric characteristics, and especially the cracks on the hard anodized surface can cause excessive wear on the resin during sliding. Therefore, by applying crack-free hard anodizing treatment "TAF TR" to the component surface, we can prevent wear of the resin material that is sliding against it. The reduction in resin wear allows for designs using material combinations that were previously not feasible.
