To enhance the discharge effect of "dextrin" used in health foods and confectionery from silos, we have adopted the BroaDisk. Since the installation of the equipment, there have been no occurrences of bridging phenomena or other blockages, allowing for stable discharge. We have installed eight BroaDisks for a 1600φ silo. While it may seem like a somewhat high number, the BroaDisk is low-cost, making it easy to introduce multiple units. This enables even more stable discharge. Additionally, the operation does not activate all eight units simultaneously; instead, they are turned on sequentially at multiple locations, which limits air usage. Hitting with a stick and the hopper becoming uneven or the welds cracking due to impact have also been eliminated!

At a synthetic resin manufacturer, they are measuring powder using an air transport hopper, which also serves as a dust collector hopper. They experienced discharge issues with this hopper, and neither a knocker nor a vibrator was effective. Additionally, a wire mesh filter installed just above the discharge outlet was severely clogged, causing them trouble, which led them to consult us. They adopted the Brodydisk (installed in the regular hopper section) and the Brodydisk Mini (installed just above the discharge outlet), which resolved their issues. This user mentioned that, in addition to the current powder, they sometimes handle "very poorly flowing and highly adhesive troublesome fine powders," so they installed more Brodydisks than usual compared to typical cases. To address the bridge issue in the quicklime silo, we have received an order for "Brodisk." Originally, you were using pulsed aeration with air nozzles, but it was not very effective and troubles were frequent, so you adopted this equipment. The results have been good. Considering the shape, dimensions, and contents of this silo, there have been cases in the past where eight Brodisks were installed. However, based on the user's request to "ensure everything is perfect from the start to avoid the hassle of adding later," 16 units have been installed this time. Since Brodisks are inexpensive devices, the cost remains limited even with a larger number of installations.
