Reduction of carbon dioxide through carbon storage using biochar.

Biochar has very high stability and can sequester carbon over the long term!

Biochar refers to the solid (charcoal) obtained from biomass such as wood through pyrolysis in an environment with low oxygen (O2). The soil retention period of the carbon (C) contained in biochar is estimated to be between 100 years and several thousand years, depending on factors such as the temperature during pyrolysis. Generally, the carbon fixation period for trees that have been planted is said to be about 60 years. Burying biochar in agricultural land results in the long-term sequestration of carbon that plants have absorbed from the atmosphere as carbon dioxide (CO2) through photosynthesis, effectively isolating it from the atmosphere for a longer duration. This carbon sequestration contributes to a reduction in the total amount of carbon cycling on the Earth's surface, leading to a decrease in carbon dioxide (CO2) levels. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Carbon cycle and biochar

Convert plants that have absorbed CO2 into charcoal (biochar) and bury them underground to permanently reduce the total amount of carbon from the surface!

The carbon cycle is the concept that carbon circulates in various forms, such as becoming carbon dioxide in the atmosphere or being part of biomass like plants and animals, continuously moving around the Earth's surface. Increasing plants, such as forests, temporarily absorbs carbon dioxide (CO2) and fixes carbon, which can lead to a reduction in the total amount of carbon in the atmosphere. However, plants eventually decompose through processes like rotting or burning, releasing CO2 again, making it difficult to sustainably reduce the total amount of carbon on the Earth's surface. In "carbon sequestration," plants that have absorbed CO2 are turned into charcoal (biochar) and buried underground, permanently reducing the total amount of carbon on the surface. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Carbonization technology "MET-type activated carbon manufacturing device"

Development of a activated carbon production device capable of material recycling of unused organic matter.

M.E.T. Corporation has developed an energy-efficient "activated carbon manufacturing device" that produces activated carbon primarily dependent on imports from unused organic materials in a continuous process. This device can continuously process carbonization and activation within a single unit. It can manufacture high-performance activated carbon to general-purpose activated carbon from forest residues and thinned wood, and unused synthetic resins, particularly thermosetting resins, can be recycled into high-performance activated carbon. Our company provides technology that enables environmental purification as a result of economic activities, such as "reducing carbon dioxide emissions," by fixing and effectively utilizing carbon from unused organic resources. We aim to promote carbonization technology from the Mikawa region of Aichi Prefecture to the entire world, leaving a beautiful Earth for the future. 【Features】 - Activation process is batch-type - Capable of producing high-performance activated carbon that requires long activation times - Capable of small-lot production of various types - High reproducibility can be achieved For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

Cosmetic spherical activated carbon "Skincare Beads"

Does not penetrate pores and does not damage the skin! Spherical activated carbon that can also be expected to have a massage effect.

"Skincare Beads" are a new spherical activated carbon material that replaces traditional microbeads. At 0.2mm, they are larger than pores, so there is no worry about them getting trapped in the pores. Their spherical shape allows them to roll gently over the skin without causing damage. The smooth massage effect can also promote blood circulation. With a surface area equivalent to about one tennis court, they effectively absorb dirt such as sebum plugs and remove it thoroughly. Additionally, they can be easily rinsed away with water, eliminating concerns about skin irritation from residue. 【Features】 - Spherical shape minimizes damage to the skin - No worry about getting trapped in pores - Easily rinsed away with water - Excellent sebum absorption capability - High hardness that does not stain clothing For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.
