What is the difference between "NYK-01" and "NYK-01-C"?
We will introduce the differences between Yoshida SKT's original surface treatment, Bicoat(R), and 'NYK-01' and 'NYK-01-C'.
"NYK-01" and "NYK-01-C" are both product numbers for the bi-coat processed by Yoshida SKT. The "NYK" series is a surface treatment that combines a nickel-based metal coating with fluororesin. The main difference between "NYK-01" and "NYK-01-C" is the difference in surface roughness. Surface roughness varies depending on the surface processing condition of each substrate, but typically "NYK-01-C" has a rougher finish. Additionally, there are various product numbers such as "NYK-01-A" and "NYK-01-D" that differ in surface roughness adjustments. In the bi-coat, the first three letters of the alphabet (NYK) indicate the type of inorganic surface treatment, while the last two digits represent the type of organic surface treatment. 01 represents the fluorine-based treatment as part of the 01 series. *For more details, please contact us.*
