Non-stick surface treatment for baked goods molds! We will propose suitable surface treatments based on our extensive track record.
We would like to introduce a case study on solving customer issues for a confectionery manufacturer.
The company encountered a problem during the production of a new baked goods product. The dough was sticking to the mold, making it difficult to release it cleanly.
Upon examining the molds manufactured by the oven manufacturer, it was found that they were surface-treated with PTFE.
Therefore, we proposed a PFA coating, which has superior non-stick properties.
As a result, they were surprised to learn that even among fluoropolymer coatings, there can be performance differences. With the use of PFA-treated molds, production went smoothly, and the new product was successfully launched.
[Issues]
- The molds were requested to be manufactured with a non-stick coating specification by the oven manufacturer.
- The dough was sticking to the molds during baking in the oven.
