Vesuvius processes bricks used inside industrial furnaces. The bricks start in a "soft" state and need to be compressed, hardened, and heated before being placed in the furnace. They are packed into a steel box for compression, which solidifies the bricks; however, after compression, the bricks stick to the steel fixtures, requiring considerable force to remove. To address this, a 50-ton hydraulic cylinder and a manual hand pump are used. Pressure is applied to the release rod to detach the bricks from the steel fixtures. Maintaining structural integrity throughout the lift was essential not only for ensuring the safety of the lift but also for securing structural integrity and safety throughout its operational lifespan. To achieve this, we utilized Enerpac PLC-controlled 700 bar synchronized lifting technology to individually control 352 small high-pressure (700 bar) 300-ton hydraulic cylinders, which were integrated into the active skids under the steel structure in groups. We were able to detect and control deflection within the required range of 210 mm over a 70-meter span between the pontoon and the main superstructure, thereby protecting its integrity throughout the lifting, weighing, moving, and launching processes. Case: Pull pin for oil well casing elevator spider.

We will introduce a case where we provided a hydraulic solution to pull out a pin within 15 minutes!

All boreholes of oil wells being drilled must be covered with durable materials to prevent contamination and provide structural support during drilling. The elevator spider is used as a guide to center each casing, and the pins need to be replaced with each drilling to remove corrosion and dirt that accumulates during the process. Additionally, the existing process for removing the pins at MOISS took up to four hours and required continuous hammering. The spindle bar passes through the center of the "RCH series" hollow cylinder attached to a metal sleeve and connects to the pins of the elevator spider. To support the construction of the new Joint Support Ship (JSS), the team at Seaspan Shipyards, based in Vancouver, aimed to find more effective ways to keep the vessel level throughout the project. To move large and heavy objects effectively, safely, and accurately, precise control and synchronized movement of all lifting points are required. To achieve this, the "Enerpac EVO synchronized lifting pump" and 12 "high-capacity hydraulic lifting cylinders" were specified and supplied by the local Enerpac distributor, Hyseco. Horizontal bridge slide method! I was able to complete the slide in 52 minutes!

Minimizing the time that State Route 266 is closed was a primary objective during the reconstruction of the bridge over the Holbrook Canal. The new bridge was initially used as a detour while the defective bridge was being demolished, and once the old bridge was taken down, the new bridge needed to be slid into position at the original bridge's location. To slide the new bridge into the designated position, a lateral bridge sliding method was employed. We provided a hydraulic solution that could push the new 44.5-foot bridge structure into the designated position using the lateral sliding method with PTFE slide elements. We supplied two "RR series double-acting hydraulic cylinders," each equipped with a unique "ZU series hydraulic pump" and integrated pendant control. The existing Johnson Street Bridge, which has a 90-year history, is located in the heart of Victoria, British Columbia, and is in the process of being replaced with a new bridge that will serve the community for the next 100 years. The 1,100-ton bascule bridge box is composed of steel and concrete caissons and needed to be precisely lowered onto 16 large piers. Therefore, we provided 32 "CLSG high-tonnage hydraulic cylinders" and 3 "EVO synchronized lift systems." All three systems are networked, allowing one operator to control all 32 points from a master control user interface.
