The density (concentration) of the fluid inside the pipe is measured from the outside of the pipe. No processing of the pipe is required.

Our gamma-ray density meter PM-1000A measures completely non-contact by simply being inserted into existing piping without any modifications. In contrast, conventional density (concentration) meters require the sensor to come into contact with the fluid, which can lead to sensor failure in acidic, alkaline, high-temperature, or high-pressure conditions. Additionally, in cases like slurries, the sensor can become stuck, gradually causing measurement errors until it can no longer measure. The sensor of the PM-1000A does not come into contact with the fluid, and there is no pressure applied within the piping. Furthermore, by providing proper insulation between the piping and the sensor, there is no influence from temperature. Therefore, it can measure fluids in acidic, alkaline, high-temperature, high-pressure conditions, and slurries without any issues. If you are struggling with troubles from other methods, please consider the PM-1000A.
