The "P-THIN-GEM BBTX-098" is a neutron radiation detector that can measure two-dimensional images of materials using neutrons and Time-Of-Flight (TOF) information. Incoming neutrons are converted into charged particles by a layer of 10B (boron-10 isotope) coated on the surface of the cathode plate, and then amplified tens of thousands of times by the GEM layer.
