Thermal IR detector
The MTS series (Micro-Hybrid Thermopile Sensor) detectors are characterized by particularly high detection capability and long lifespan.
One-channel and multi-channel detectors for remote temperature measurement and gas analysis, the MTS thermopile sensor enables non-contact temperature measurement and gas detection due to its high sensitivity. The one-channel, two-channel, and four-channel thermopile sensors detect broad-spectrum infrared. The thermal diffusion current of two different metals (Seebeck effect) generates a voltage when exposed to infrared (IR) or heat, which is then transmitted and processed as a measurement signal. They are suitable for non-contact temperature measurement and NDIR gas analysis. Infrared thermopiles, also known as thermopiles, detect broad-spectrum infrared. The foundation of each detector is formed by so-called thermocouples. The thermal diffusion current of two different metals (Seebeck effect) generates electrical voltage, which is transmitted and processed as a measurement signal. The sensitivity of the detector greatly affects the quality of the measurement results.
