To enhance the discharge effect of "dextrin" used in health foods and confectionery from silos, we have adopted the BroaDisk. Since the installation of the equipment, there have been no occurrences of bridging phenomena or other blockages, allowing for stable discharge. We have installed eight BroaDisks for a 1600φ silo. While it may seem like a somewhat high number, the BroaDisk is low-cost, making it easy to introduce multiple units. This enables even more stable discharge. Additionally, the operation does not activate all eight units simultaneously; instead, they are turned on sequentially at multiple locations, which limits air usage. We received a consultation regarding the transportation of a powder container tank by truck, where the materials inside the tank became compacted due to vibrations during transport, making it impossible to discharge. We installed a total of four BD-15S-B standard blow discs, one on each side. During discharge, we manually turn on the air, but first, we repeat turning on the air 2-3 times for a few seconds while the butterfly valve is closed. Here is a case study of the introduction of the "Brodisk." We received an inquiry from a customer who was unable to naturally discharge the contents from the hopper and was addressing the issue by poking it from below with a stick. We collected the hopper drawings and a sample of the contents and presented a proposal for the introduction. The user's problem was resolved through the implementation. 【Case Overview】 ■ Target Material: Calcium carbonate (mainly granular, but also includes fine powder) ■ Hopper: Diameter Ø700, discharge 150A, eccentric hopper ■ Equipment Arrangement: A total of 4 units installed, with varying heights primarily on the steep incline Lower level - 1 unit; Middle level - 2 units; Upper level - 1 unit ■ Control: All 4 units simultaneously operated with air ON/OFF by a controller C-SV1 with 1 built-in solenoid valve. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

A high-performance machine that combines bridge prevention and quantitative discharge: the "Hopper Vinyl Feeder"!

The difficult-to-discharge foaming agent was challenging to handle, making it impossible to discharge from the hopper and automate the process. The powder bridged inside the hopper, preventing it from being fed into the transport line, and there were concerns that relying solely on bridging prevention equipment would not ensure accurate dosing, leading to blockages in the transport line. Aisin Industry proposed a hopper equipped with the "Hopper Vinyl Feeder (HBF)," which combines bridging countermeasures and quantitative discharge. This made it possible to achieve storage and accurate discharge, and we also succeeded in air transport.
