We would like to introduce an application case of the disk dryer "Dow Dryer." The "Dow Dryer" is a device that dries slurry and dewatered cake into powder form, utilizing a high stirring effect from a shaft with two disks rotating at different speeds, along with a self-cleaning effect that scrapes off any adhered materials from the disks. In a case where it was used as a dryer for fly ash from waste incineration (melting), there were issues such as conveyor blockages and ash storage tank clogs, but these problems were resolved with this device. 【Case Study】 <Dryer for Fly Ash from Waste Incineration (Melting)> ■Issues - During the process of cooling the exhaust gas generated from waste incinerators and melting furnaces with water spray in the cooling tower, gas-cooled ash containing moisture was produced. - The presence of moisture in the ash worsened its handling characteristics, leading to blockages and other issues during the transportation process. ■Improvements - By installing a non-uniform speed dual-axis hot air dryer below the cooling tower, the gas-cooled ash was efficiently dried, resolving blockages and other issues in subsequent processes. - Stable fly ash processing became possible. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

We would like to introduce a case study of the "Disc Dryer" that we handle. At a certain sake brewery, by-products such as shochu lees, whiskey lees, and beer lees were generated during the manufacturing process. These lees were previously disposed of as industrial waste, but with moisture content ranging from 60% to 85%, the cost burden of waste disposal was significant. Therefore, by introducing our unique "Variable Speed Dual-Axis Disc Dryer," we were able to reduce the moisture content to around 10% to 30%, transforming the material into a manageable powdery form, which can be effectively utilized as feed or fertilizer.
