[Environmental Improvement Case] Update of Various Grinding Dust Collectors

Proposal for workspace layout due to the update of the existing dust collector! Environmental improvement with installation in a small space.

We would like to introduce examples of proposed new installation locations associated with the update of various dust collectors. The existing dust collector is installed outdoors, and we were considering updating it with the same type of dust collector. However, the conditions for the installation location have changed significantly since the initial installation, making it difficult to carry out <removal of the existing dust collector> and <delivery of the new dust collector> at the existing site. Since neither removal nor new installation can be done at the existing dust collector's location, we consulted with the user about the layout of the workspace. This document introduces a case of updating dust collection equipment due to the aging of dust collection systems. The dust collection equipment for the melting furnace had become outdated, significantly reducing its dust collection capacity and maintainability. There were challenges such as the manufacturer of the existing dust collector going out of business, making it difficult to obtain replacement parts for repairs. In response, we updated the dust collection system from a shaking reverse wash mechanical vibration method to a pulse jet method, resolving the issues. Dioxin removal electrostatic precipitator

The power consumption is less than half that of conventional electrostatic precipitators. A stable low-voltage current can be obtained, allowing for the collection of sub-micron particles and demonstrating excellent removal capabilities for dioxins. We developed a high-performance electrostatic precipitator and obtained a patent in June 2006. Using this electrostatic precipitator is very economical, as it can reduce dioxins without the need for slaked lime or activated carbon. The discharge electrodes have a blunt angle or a shape close to it, making them resistant to corrosion and capable of maintaining a stable high current over the long term.

The "DXNs-EP" is an electric dust collector designed to remove dioxins, with a discharge electrode placed at the center and pipe-shaped collection electrodes arranged in all directions, allowing discharge in all directions from the discharge electrode.
