The Mini PCIe card can be used in COM Express, PC/104, VPX, notebook, and tablet PC systems. The schematics and layouts can be used in any board design that requires connecting PCI Express to one or more channels of MIL-STD-1553. The HI-2130LBx MIL-STD-1553 terminal is an industry-leading solution that integrates a complete 1553 protocol, optional ECC with 64KByte of shared RAM, dual transceivers, and dual transformers into a compact 15×15 mm square BGA package. Each 1553 channel supports BC, MT, and 2×RT. All 1553 protocol modes can operate simultaneously. The PCI Express interface is designed using the cost-effective Xilinx Artix-7 FPGA. The FPGA source code is also included, allowing for free modifications to the hardware processing to meet requirements.
