[Case Study] Removal of Boron from Flue Gas Desulfurization Wastewater in Thermal Power Plants Using Coagulants
Processing is possible with a small amount of usage! Here are examples of achieving the target value of 50 mg/L or below.
This is a case where water with a boron concentration of 500 mg/L was treated to a target concentration of 50 mg/L using READ-CX(L) at a thermal power plant overseas. At the same power plant, it was necessary to treat the boron contained in the desulfurization wastewater to meet the standards related to wastewater regulations. After treatment with a water treatment coagulant, the target value of below 50 mg/L was achieved. [Case Summary] ■Challenge - It was necessary to treat the boron contained in the desulfurization wastewater to meet the standards related to wastewater regulations. ■Results - Achieved the target value of below 50 mg/L. - Compared to conventional methods, the amount used was less, and the amount of sludge generated was also minimized, contributing to cost improvement. *For more details, please refer to the related links or download the materials for confirmation.
