We would like to introduce a case of implementing "fluorine treatment coagulants" in the metal processing industry. In the existing wastewater treatment system, fluorine treatment was conducted using a single-stage coagulation process with lime; however, the fluorine concentration in the treated water could not reach the target value, and it was diluted with well water before being discharged. After the implementation, by adjusting the inflow rates of concentrated and diluted wastewater, the concentration of the raw water became constant, allowing for consistently stable coagulation and fluorine treatment. 【Legionella Bacteria Case】Water Purification Device 'Mecasera Device'

The "Legionella bacteria" are gram-negative rod-shaped bacteria that inhabit soil and freshwater in the natural environment, possessing a single flagellum at one end of the cell body, which allows for motility. We adjusted Legionella pneumophila type 1 to 10,000 CFU/100mL and conducted a "Legionella bacteria disinfection test using Mekacera water" as experimental material. As a result, when Mekacera balls were applied in the presence of residual chlorine at concentrations of 0.1ppm to 0.2ppm, the number of Legionella bacteria gradually decreased, and no viable bacteria were detected after 24 hours.
