The concentrations of oil and COD components were lower than expected; however, after performing adsorption treatment using the special adsorbents "CS-05" and "NAC-01," we were able to easily reduce COD Mn and n-hexane extractable substances by conducting coagulation treatment with our product. When this product is added, it reacts with the alkaline components in the water to produce positively charged aluminum hydroxide, which neutralizes the negative charges on the surfaces of the fine particles in the turbidity, leading to coagulation and floc formation. Aluminum sulfate is effective against most suspended and floating substances.
