[Case Study] Switching to Forged Products by Adjusting Head Height Accuracy

We would like to introduce a case study of improvements in the machining of mechanical parts proposed by Naox Co., Ltd. When we received the drawing for the upper roller and attempted to process it, we found that there were no detailed specifications on the drawing. The situation required high precision for assembly on the customer’s side, but there was significant variation due to the welded parts. Forging is a type of metal processing that involves shaping metal materials by hammering or pressing them into various forms. It is classified into three types based on the temperature during the forming process: cold (room temperature), warm (600–900°C), and hot (900–1250°C). Our company employs "cold forging" using a press machine.
