Multi-forming processing

Complex bending processes that are difficult with press processing are possible! Significant cost reduction in material expenses has been achieved.

In "Multi-Forming Processing," composite processing (spot welding, contact riveting, tapping) can be performed within the mold. Complex bending processing (3D) is possible. Since the product width equals the material width, cost reduction in material expenses can be achieved. We have a track record of processing parts for lighting fixtures. 【Features】 ■ Composite processing (spot welding, contact riveting, tapping) can be performed within the mold ■ Cost reduction in material expenses can be achieved since the product width equals the material width ■ Complex bending processing (3D) is possible *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Examples of Motor-Related Parts Processing

It is possible to configure a line directly connected to machining! This can significantly reduce the space required for line expansion.

We will introduce examples of processing motor-related components. The FF method allows for a hollow shape with a large inner diameter, achieving not only weight reduction but also enhanced cooling effects. Due to warm processing, the thrust is extremely low at around 7 tons. Additionally, flow forming can be compared to the final product weight of hot forging plus drilling, with an expected weight reduction effect of 43% and a cost reduction of 30%. 【Case Overview】 <Motor Shaft> ■Material: S45C, SCM420 ■Plate Thickness: 9mm ■Material Outer Diameter: φ65 *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Crack processing flow forming

By pushing apart the edges of the material, you can create a split shape resembling a T-shaped cross-section.

When producing a split shape through forging, a large load is required; however, with flow forming, it is possible to shape from a disc with a small force. This allows for the shaping of pipes in sizes that are not commercially available.

What are the attractions of working in the logistics industry, as described by the president of NX Research Institute?

The president's career and a message for new members of society! Insights on logistics in Japan will also be introduced.

Congratulations to everyone who became new members of society in April. To those who have chosen to dive into the logistics industry among many sectors, I have contributed to this blog in hopes of providing some insights into what it is like to work at a logistics company, based on my own experiences. While my focus is primarily on international logistics from the 1980s to the 2010s, I hope it serves as a reference for your future professional life. *You can view the detailed content of the blog through the related links. Series NX Research Institute President Talks About 6 New President History and Greetings

Introduction and a blog post about the air cargo industry at the end of the Showa era!

Our blog started in May 2015 with a post by the then-president titled "Nittsu Research Institute Newsletter: Rojitasu." In that blog, it was mentioned, "The other day, I stopped by an izakaya run by a former professional baseball player. As usual, I started with a beer. The mug I held had the phrase 'You have to swing the bat; otherwise, you won't get a hit' printed on it. We swing the bat, but for our readers, it may be difficult to find articles that are truly engaging. Could you bear with us a little longer? Occasionally, there might be a well-hit article that comes along. We hope you will stay with us." I don't know how many hits have been made so far, but I have also decided to carry on the spirit of my predecessors. Although I am not very good at writing, I have resolved to write a blog from time to time. This time, I would like to share a self-introduction and reminisce about the air cargo industry during the end of the Showa era, recalling memories that I had almost forgotten. I would be grateful if you could spend some time with me. *For more details about the blog, you can view it through the related links. Please feel free to contact us for more information.*
