**About Salt Baths** A salt solution is created by heating and melting chemicals such as potassium chloride, sodium chloride, and sodium nitrite. This is a quenching method where products are heated in a salt bath quenching tank filled with salt solution and then rapidly cooled with low-temperature salt solution. The salt solution has superior heat transfer compared to gases, allowing heat to be evenly transmitted to the object. Since the salt solution directly contacts the object, it minimizes cooling unevenness during cooling, leading to stabilization of the structure and preventing risks of hardness unevenness, distortion, and cracking. **Our Features** We perform quenching by heating above 800°C in a pit-type carburizing furnace and rapidly cooling in a salt bath at 170°C to 180°C. By rapidly cooling, even materials like S45C, which are difficult to harden, achieve higher hardness compared to oil cooling.
