High Cement Content Soil Improvement Agent MT Series [Construction Case] Pond Dredging Work

Efficient transportation of large amounts of deposited soil! A case where the deposited soil was improved, and primary transportation was carried out using a roller dump within the reservoir, followed by secondary transportation to a temporary storage area several kilometers away using dump trucks.

This construction project involves the dredging of sediment from a reservoir. At the same site, the accumulation of sediment in the reservoir had reduced its water storage capacity, which became a problem. However, the high moisture content of the sediment made it difficult to transport using dump trucks. Therefore, a high-moisture sediment improvement agent, MT-2, which is neutral and allows for immediate transportation from the site, was adopted. High Cement Content Soil Improvement Agent MT Series [Construction Case Studies] Infrastructure Development Project

Optimal for the field! A case where excavation for waterway widening was adopted in the infrastructure development project.

This construction project is a land readjustment project aimed at large-scale consolidation of rice fields. In this project, the initial plan was to backfill the existing waterway with locally generated soil for agricultural use. However, due to the high moisture content of the locally generated soil, we considered methods for soil improvement, but using cement or lime was not feasible due to concerns about their impact on crops. Therefore, we conducted test formulations to see if the high-water-content clay soil improvement agent MT-2 could be used. As a result, all soil environmental standard component analysis items were below the standard values, and the soil hardness (Yamanaka method) was determined to be 12mm after 21 days, leading us to conclude that backfilling with improved soil was possible, and we proceeded with mixing at the site of the existing waterway. Furthermore, considering future subsurface drainage and agricultural activities, the use of improved soil was limited to a depth of 80cm below the surface. This is an example of improving the soil during gas pipe restoration work to achieve rapid operations!

We would like to introduce a case study of the MT series high cement content soil improvement agent. This project involves the restoration of a gas pipe buried underground. During the excavation of the shaft, groundwater was encountered at depths of 10 to 30 meters, causing mud and muddy water to hinder the construction. Additionally, the temporary storage yard was small, necessitating the immediate removal of the mud. As a solution, MT-1 was adopted, and this product was added to the mud mixed with quality soil for improvement. The improved soil was promptly transported to an improvement plant located about 15 kilometers away. The main objective of this project was the restoration of the gas pipe, and there were concerns about the time and costs associated with the removal of the mud. The soil from the sewer installation work was improved by mixing it with quicklime and was immediately removed from the site!

We would like to introduce a case study of the MT series high-water-content soil improvement agent. This project involves the construction of a sewer pipe installation. The mud generated from the mud slurry pushing method had a high water content, making it difficult to transport. To address this, we added quicklime to the mud and mixed it appropriately, then added MT-1 and mixed it again, improving it to a transportable state in about 15 minutes. [Super Soil Construction Case Study] Examples of Soil Improvement in Planting Work

This is a case study of soil improvement work in the H22 Ageo Road planting project in Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture.

We will introduce a case study of the application of "Super Sol," an artificial lightweight material made from crushed and sintered waste glass, used for soil improvement in planting work. It was utilized as a soil improvement material for low shrub azalea planting near the intersection of National Route 17 (Ageo Road). It has been adopted as an inorganic soil improvement material registered with NETIS. Compared to natural mineral foams, it produces less dust during construction, allowing work to proceed even on slightly windy days.
