[FA Site Improvement Case] I want to visualize the number of defective products during equipment downtime.

Improving Quality: Identifying the Number of Defective Products through the Visualization of Casting Equipment Error Time!

We will introduce a case study of improvements in FA (Factory Automation) sites proposed by Patlite. Due to errors occurring in the casting equipment, the machine stopped, causing a drop in internal temperature and leading to the production of defective products. However, the downtime could not be monitored on-site, resulting in an inability to confirm the number of defective items. To address this, we introduced the layered information display light "LA6." Upon receiving a signal of an abnormal occurrence, the "LA6" displays the downtime on a timer. By increasing the red timer display in stages from 1 to 5 every minute, it became possible to confirm the downtime from a distance by the number of lit segments. [Case Study] ■ Current Situation - For equipment that experienced an abnormal stop, the person in charge measured the time and identified the number of defective products. - The downtime could not be monitored on-site, and the number of defective items could not be confirmed. ■ Proposal - With the timer display function, the display increases every minute from the occurrence of an abnormality, allowing the downtime to be confirmed from a distance by the number of lit segments. - Wiring is simple, requiring only one additional wire alongside the conventional signal light. - Display time, display color (21 colors), and patterns (15) can be changed using editing software. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us. https://www.patlite.co.jp/

[FA Site Improvement Case] Visualization of Tank Remaining Quantity through Remote Alarm Notification

"Visualization of analog data" can be implemented at a low cost through wireless technology.

We will introduce a case study of improvements in FA (Factory Automation) sites proposed by Patlite. At a certain food packaging factory, sterilizing solution was being injected in an outdoor separate building, but there were frequent instances of not noticing when the tank ran out of solution. Therefore, we introduced our wireless control unit and a load information display light. This allowed for visualization of the remaining amount in the separate office building, enabling timely replenishment before running out of the solution. Since the remaining amount could be displayed by threshold, it became immediately clear. 【Case Study】 ■ Issues - Sterilizing solution was being injected in an outdoor separate building, but there were frequent instances of not noticing when the tank ran out of solution. ■ Benefits of Implementation - Visualization of the remaining amount in the separate office building allows for timely replenishment before running out of the solution. - Cost-effective implementation through wireless technology. - Clear visibility of remaining amounts by threshold. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us. https://www.patlite.co.jp/ ↓↓↓ Official Online Shop ↓↓↓

[Network Camera Improvement Case] Effective in preventing impersonation!

Identify whether someone is a registered user or not with a lamp upon entering the facility! Visualization through facial recognition system.

This is an example of introducing Patlite's network monitoring indicator light to a facility that faced the challenge of not being able to identify individuals who were not authorized to enter the facility on the spot. When entering the facility, it helps prevent impersonation by identifying whether someone is a registered user or not with green/red lights on the spot. 【Case Study】 ■ Before Implementation - Unable to identify individuals who were not authorized to enter the facility on the spot. - Even with cameras installed, they only served to verify incidents after they occurred. ■ After Implementation - Identifies whether someone is a registered user or not with green/red lights on the spot when entering the facility. - Prevents impersonation. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us. https://www.patlite.co.jp/ ↓↓↓ Official Online Shop ↓↓↓

[Network Camera Improvement Case] Filling the Gap in Labor Reduction

Visualize with an easy system! Smooth response from security personnel even from remote locations!

At a certain factory, the issue arose that when vehicles were parked in a no-parking area, the guards in the distant guard room could not notice it immediately, leading to them being overwhelmed with responses. In response, we proposed the Patlite network monitoring signal light. When a vehicle is parked in the no-parking area, the signal light immediately alerts the guard room, allowing for visibility even from remote locations and eliminating disruptions to operations. [Case Study] ■ Before Implementation - Vehicles were parked in the no-parking area at the factory, causing guards to be overwhelmed with responses. ■ After Implementation - The guard room is alerted when a vehicle is parked in the no-parking area, allowing for the vehicle to be moved and eliminating disruptions to operations. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us. https://www.patlite.co.jp/ ↓↓↓ Official Online Shop ↓↓↓

[Network Camera Improvement Case] Measures Against Intruders

A system that enables administrators to quickly notice suspicious individuals!

A company that was looking for a good system that allows the administrator to quickly notice when someone other than authorized personnel enters the facility has adopted Patlite's network monitoring display light. By integrating with a facial recognition system, it detects individuals who are not residents of the facility and alerts in a timely manner by activating the network monitoring display light. With facial recognition, detection is possible even if the individual does not possess an IC chip, enabling highly reliable intrusion prevention measures. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us. https://www.patlite.co.jp/ ↓↓↓ Official Online Shop ↓↓↓
