Case Study: Barcode Reader for Reading Current Item Tags in the Electronic Components Manufacturing Industry

We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of the "Barcode Sheet Reader SR-100 Series" at a certain electronic component manufacturing company. Due to the high volume of processing per day, dedicated staff were constantly engaged in the work. Additionally, since the tasks were performed manually, reading errors occurred, which also took time to recover from. Balancing the reduction of work mistakes and improving work efficiency was a challenge. To address this, we introduced the "SR-110," a barcode sheet reader specialized for invoice reading. It has a processing capacity of approximately 250 sheets per minute, allowing for the processing of about 300 sheets in just a little over a minute. It can print on the processed invoices, making it easy to see at a glance which invoices have been completed, eliminating concerns about skipping or duplicating readings.
