[Case Study] Biomass Radar-type Microwave Level Gauge for Chicken Manure Silos

Even in silos with severe material adhesion, effective adhesion prevention measures allow for precise measurement! Cleaning tasks can be reduced!

We would like to introduce a case where the microwave level meter 'MWLM-PR26H7S' handled by Matsushima Majatech was introduced to a biomass plant chicken manure silo. With the existing level meter, there was constant accumulation of deposits even with a cleaning frequency of once a month. However, after switching to this product, the inside of the antenna after three months showed almost no deposits even without cleaning. By utilizing a PTFE-coated antenna, this product reduces deposits and takes advantage of water droplets from condensation to wash away deposits, thereby reducing cleaning work. [Case Study] ■ Issues - The existing level meter had deposits even with a cleaning frequency of once a month. ■ Introduced Product - Microwave level meter 'MWLM-PR26H7S' ■ Effects - Even without cleaning, water droplets were washing away the deposits.

[Case Study] Improvement of Water Quality in Treated Water through Level Monitoring

Level monitoring is effective for improving the environment and reducing costs in thickener equipment!

■Challenges of Thickener Equipment We often hear from customers that they want to monitor the concentrated sludge that accumulates at the bottom of the thickener. However, since the sludge accumulates in the liquid, they are troubled by not knowing how to monitor it or what kind of measuring instruments to use... If the accumulated sludge cannot be measured... ● The quality of the treated water deteriorates, making reuse difficult. ● The rake experiences increased load and wears out. We want to find a way to solve these challenges! The solution to these concerns is the "sounding type level gauge (weight type level gauge)." The sounding level gauge (Sounding M's) suspends a detection weight at the end of a wire, and by moving the weight up and down, it detects the distance to the accumulated sludge. The weight reliably detects the accumulated sludge without being affected by the resistance of the water.

[Case Study] Monitoring the Level of Collected Dust

Stable level monitoring without relying on the experience points of veterans.

In the automobile recycling factory, the dust generated during the crushing of cars is collected by a dust collector and then pumped to a container, with the level monitoring of the container relying on the experience of veteran workers. Therefore, we would like to introduce a case where we solved this issue by introducing a radar-type millimeter-wave level gauge. <Challenges Before Implementation> 1) When there is a sudden increase in the pumping volume, even veteran workers may misjudge the timing, leading to an overflow of the set quantity. 2) We want to enable even young workers to switch the containers at the appropriate timing. [Case Study] Hydroelectric Power Plant Water Intake Level Monitoring

Water level monitoring for the safety of the lower river basin.

In waterway power generation, water is taken from upstream rivers and sent to the power station through a waterway. Monitoring water levels is very important because low water intake can lead to increased water levels downstream, posing a danger. This time, we introduce a case where millimeter-wave level gauges were implemented for monitoring water levels in the waterway of waterway power generation and in the river, achieving stable power generation and safety in downstream areas. <Points for Selecting Millimeter-Wave Level Gauges!> 1) With millimeter-wave level gauges, the narrow radiation angle allows for avoiding interference with structures even in confined spaces. 2) Millimeter-wave level gauges can provide stable measurements over long distances of more than 20 meters. For more details, please refer to the related link URL.

Microwave Level Gauge MWS2-24TN/24RN

Non-contact microwave level switch for level measurement, ideal for measuring challenging materials such as waste, coal, and gravel.

For example, if you want to measure the waste in a garbage pit, have you ever encountered issues such as, "The specific gravity of the waste (for example, paper waste) is light when it is in a rotating state, causing the blades to not stop, and it could not be detected..." or "The detection unit inside the pit was damaged by falling objects..."? Our microwave level switch model MWS can detect the measurement object even if its size is not uniform, as it receives microwaves emitted from the transmitter and detects when the measurement object interrupts the signal. (It does not respond to objects that are falling.) Additionally, it can measure with minimal influence from adhesion to the emitting surface or dust. If you are particularly concerned about adhesion to the emitting surface, measurement is possible even through a detection window (such as glass, Teflon, or ceramic, which allows radio waves to pass through). *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
