Supplied sign lighting and pacemaker lights using the first tunnel lighting fixtures in Japan on the Shin-Meishin Expressway (Takatsuki JCT/IC to Kobe JCT).

We have delivered the first domestic tunnel lighting fixtures used for sign lighting and pace maker lights on the Shin-Meishin Expressway (from Takatsuki JCT/IC to Kobe JCT). To resolve and alleviate issues such as collision accidents and traffic congestion caused by falling objects while driving on the expressway, as well as the unintended deceleration that occurs when entering a tunnel, we developed a product equipped with functions not found in conventional tunnel lighting, making it the first of its kind in Japan, and delivered it to the Shin-Meishin Expressway. ● Sign Lighting Sign lighting refers to tunnel lighting that shines white but flashes red in the event of a vehicle fire, and flashes yellow during abnormal occurrences such as accidents, falling objects, or breakdowns, alerting drivers. This allows drivers to operate their vehicles with peace of mind. ● Pace Maker Light The pace maker light is a tunnel lighting that shines white but lights up green, with light flowing in the direction of travel. By controlling the driver's sense of speed as they try to catch up to the green light, it helps restore speed and alleviate traffic congestion. Conversely, if a driver overtakes the green light, the pace maker light employs technology to assist in speed regulation.

The explosion-proof LED lighting fixture (LZWA series) aims for a compact and lightweight design while ensuring the same illuminance and light distribution as conventional fluorescent fixtures (HF fluorescent 45W x 2 lamps). It measures within 30 cm in both width and height, and weighs only 5 kg. This reduces the burden of installation work and improves safety due to the smaller contact area. As for explosion-proof standards, it has obtained international explosion-proof certification IECEx (IEC60079-0, -1), as well as European explosion-proof certification ATEX (LZWA12041).
