Bending process SUS304-WPBΦ1.3 stop fitting
Since residual stress occurs due to molding in spring materials, heat treatment to relieve stress is necessary.
The material used is a general-purpose spring material, "spring stainless steel wire - SUS304-WPB." Similar shapes have been successfully made with "piano wire type A - SWP-A" and "beryllium copper wire - C5191W." Spring materials generate residual stress (processing strain) due to forming processes such as bending and coiling. If left untreated, residual stress can lead to deformation and other issues, so stress relief heat treatment is performed after the forming of spring materials. This process is conducted at relatively low temperatures of 200 to 450 degrees, which is referred to as low-temperature annealing. If you have any issues with springs, please feel free to consult us.
