Two-color molded product (fake stitch)

Automotive decorative parts that leverage the advantages of composite material molding.

We have produced two-color molded parts (fake stitches) that utilize the advantages of composite materials in collaboration with molding manufacturers and corrosion processing manufacturers. We have made it possible to create stitch processing, which was difficult with conventional methods, using molds, and by introducing more realistic decorative techniques, we have enabled deep groove processing that may appear to be undercut at first glance.

How to choose a partner to maximize the benefits of overlapping connections.

It is essential to confirm the corresponding size! Let's choose a company that has both technical skills and know-how, as well as equipment and track record.

We will introduce how to choose a partner that can maximize the benefits of polymer adhesive bonding. Currently, there are few companies capable of handling large products. For example, at Shinshi, we can accommodate products up to about 5 meters in length for press molding. By selecting a company that can consistently handle everything from pre-processing to post-processing, you can often gain advantages in cost and delivery time. When choosing a partner for adhesive bonding of plastics, including acrylic, select a company that possesses the technical skills, know-how, equipment, and track record to fully meet the client's requirements, while being well-versed in the characteristics of the resin. If you have any questions or concerns regarding plastic processing, please feel free to consult with Shinshi. [Key Points] - Proficient in both polymer adhesive bonding and solvent bonding - Capable of handling everything in-house - Able to accommodate large products *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Our uniquely developed "IMP Method"

Eliminate the fundamental issue of strength deficiency caused by voids and achieve reliable resin components!

The issue of voids, especially vacuum voids, in plastic parts has been a long-standing challenge due to their difficult control. We face the problem of voids in various situations, such as with POM materials used in mechanical components and in thick-walled molded products. However, the solutions are limited, and measures such as reducing the product thickness negatively impact strength. The "IMP method," uniquely developed by PLAMO, is a technology that completely controls voids even in very thick products. It is an application of the technology proven with "IMP blocks" and demonstrates effectiveness for various shapes.

Are you struggling with the reduced strength of plastics due to weight reduction and other factors?

"Support for maximizing strength" Have you ever encountered strengths that are far below the strength data in the material catalog in plastic injection molding?

I believe you have experienced a significant decrease in strength that falls far below the strength data listed in the material catalog for plastic injection molding. It is often the case that the strength of plastic molded products cannot be achieved as indicated in the catalog. This decrease in values is particularly pronounced in reinforced resins with fibrous additives, and it becomes a major issue due to the nature of the reinforced resin. For example, when a decrease in strength occurs, the typical countermeasure is to increase the thickness, but it is important to understand that this adjustment may lead to significant problems. In cases where high strength requirements are necessary, it is essential to be involved from the product design stage, identifying areas of strength reduction and considering appropriate countermeasures. The aging degradation of the resin must also be taken into account. Our company has the expertise to carry out these processes. We would be grateful if companies considering lightweighting or resin substitution for metal parts, or those struggling with insufficient strength and contemplating abandoning development, could contact us. (The photo shows the results of analyzing the glass fiber orientation distribution using simulation software for injection molding. The strength of resin parts depends on fiber orientation.)

[Technical Introduction] What is Blow Molding?

Ideal for molding hollow-shaped industrial parts such as PET bottles and poly tanks!

Blow molding is a technique that involves extruding heated cylindrical resin (parison) using an extruder, clamping it in a mold, and blowing air into it to inflate it like a balloon. It is also referred to as hollow molding. With this method, various containers such as bottles and tanks, as well as automotive parts like intake ducts, air conditioning ducts, washer tanks, and reserve tanks, are produced, taking advantage of the lightweight and shape achieved through hollow molding. 【Process】 ○ Resin that has been kneaded and plasticized by a screw is stored in an accumulator (pressure accumulator) and pressurized. ○ The resin (parison) stored in the accumulator is extruded by a hydraulic ram to form a cylindrical shape. ○ The parison is clamped in a mold, and compressed air is blown in from an air pin to inflate the parison, pressing it against the inner walls of the mold, followed by cooling and solidification. ○ The air pin is removed, the mold is opened to take out the product, and post-processing such as removing burrs from areas that extend beyond the mold is performed. For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

[Technical Introduction] What is Injection Molding?

Ideal for plastic molding! We can accommodate a wide range from everyday items to industrial precision parts!

Injection molding is a technology that involves injecting melted plastic material into a mold under pressure to form products. This technology is characterized by its ability to accommodate a wide range of applications, from everyday items to industrial precision parts. Our company is also ready to fulfill orders for plastic products made through injection molding. Furthermore, you can trust us with complex-shaped products that combine blow-molded and injection-molded items. 【Process】 ○ Stir and measure the plasticized resin with a screw, storing it in the cylinder ○ Apply pressure to the screw to advance the resin into the mold ○ The resin in the mold cools and solidifies with water or other means, taking the exact shape of the mold's cavity ○ Open the mold to remove the product and cut the gate if necessary For more details, please refer to our catalog or feel free to contact us.
