We would like to introduce a development case of the "Production Line Safety Control System," which controls process equipment on the production line, as well as the control of transport and welding robots. In some processes, operators may need to enter the operational areas of equipment and robots for tasks such as loading parts and quality checks. To ensure that operators, equipment, and robots do not interfere with each other, we constructed the system using a safety PLC and safety devices compatible with Safety over EtherCAT to monitor safety sensors and the status of equipment and robots over the network. [Development Case] AGV-Equipped Elevator Relay System

We will introduce a case study on the development of a system that relays control communication between existing auxiliary elevators and a new AGV transport system during the introduction of a new AGV package into an old-style AGV transport system. The relay panel's PLC receives AGV position information via serial communication from the management PC of the AGV transport system, adjusts the timing, and outputs control signals to the auxiliary elevators.
