Spirulina Blue (phycocyanin / phycocyanin protein / natural edible colorant / water-soluble)

Natural spirulina blue. A water-soluble blue natural pigment containing phycocyanin, it can safely impart a vibrant blue color to food, dairy products, confections, and beverages.

This product, "Spirulina Blue," is a natural edible colorant extracted and refined from the algae Spirulina (Spirulina platensis). Its main components are phycocyanin and phycocyanin protein, and it is available in blue powder or granule form. It dissolves easily in water but is insoluble in alcohol and fats. It is somewhat unstable to heat, light, and acid, but remains stable under weakly acidic to neutral conditions (pH 4.5 to 8), with precipitation possibly occurring under acidic conditions (pH 4.2). It decolorizes under strongly alkaline conditions, has low stability with metal ions, and its dyeing ability is limited. For food applications, it can be used in candies, jellies, ice pops, ice cream, cheese products, and fruit juice beverages. As a naturally derived blue colorant, it is characterized by high safety and the ability to impart vibrant colors.

Gardenia Blue (Gardenia Blue / Natural Coloring Agent / Water-Soluble / Food Use)

Natural-derived Gardenia Blue. It is water-soluble, exhibits a vivid blue color, and has excellent light, heat, and acid stability, making it a widely usable natural coloring agent in food, beverages, and cosmetics.

This product, "Gardenia Blue," is a natural pigment extracted from the fruit of the gardenia plant (Rubiaceae) through various manufacturing processes. The main coloring component is the carotenoid gentiobiose, and gardenia yellow is provided as a yellow liquid or brownish-yellow powder, while gardenia blue is offered as a blue liquid or deep blue powder. Both pigments easily dissolve in water and ethanol solutions but are insoluble in acetone and fats. It is characterized by its vivid color and has a unique gardenia scent, excellent coloring power, high light and heat resistance, and the color of the aqueous solution is stable under pH 4 to 10 conditions. Additionally, by combining gardenia blue and gardenia yellow, it is also possible to adjust a green pigment with excellent acid stability. Due to these properties, it is utilized in a wide range of applications. For food applications, it is suitable for alcoholic beverages, fruit juices, tea drinks, confections (biscuits, pudding, ice cream), premium bread and noodles, candies, canned products, and more. Furthermore, it can also be used in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic fields. To ensure safety derived from natural raw materials, a pesticide-free and contamination-free management system is thoroughly implemented in a 60,000-mu contract cultivation field, and manufacturing complies with international certification. There are also numerous adoption records among domestic and international food and cosmetic manufacturers.
