Typically, when the range is wide, it is necessary to separate the power supply by input voltage, such as 12 to 24V or 48 to 72V, or to use a switch to toggle between them. By using a buck-boost switching converter that can automatically switch between boost and buck operations, we can accommodate an ultra-wide input range of DC 24V to 110V. Eliminating the switch allows for stable output and improves reliability.
