Precision processing of stainless steel × carbide brazed products at the micron level.

We provide precision machining services using cemented carbide and austenitic stainless steel (SUS304 series) as base materials for brazed products. The base material with brazed cemented carbide will be precisely machined using techniques such as grinding and electrical discharge machining. The brazed products have been heated in the previous process, which usually results in distortion of the base material. We will perform precision machining that requires strict geometric tolerances while removing the distortion of the base material. In particular, when the base material is made of high thermal expansion coefficient materials such as SUS, significant warping occurs during the brazing of cemented carbide, and new warping can also develop during the grinding process, necessitating advanced machining techniques.
