Parts with sharp shapes tend to concentrate the stretching of the sheet, making it easy for cracks to occur, and there is a high risk of significant reduction in sheet thickness, which may not meet the minimum thickness requirement. A larger bend radius is desirable for these shapes. For parts with a drawn shape that has a distance to the outer contour, it is necessary to increase the material dimensions to ensure the outer dimensions after drawing, which requires many processing steps, leaving traces of wrinkles corresponding to the number of processes. Additionally, if there are shapes with irregularities, the wrinkle suppression structure of the mold may not be placed appropriately, leading to the occurrence of wrinkles and overlaps. We recommend a solution where the inner and outer parts are made as separate components and assembled.
