At our factory, we process automotive parts. The wastewater generated during manufacturing contains oil components such as machining oil, which we had been disposing of directly through a waste disposal company. With strict cost reduction demands from our customers, we wanted to reduce the costs associated with wastewater treatment. We learned that an oil-water separation system could separate (remove) the oil components and sludge contained in the wastewater to nearly zero, so we first installed a demonstration unit in-house to verify its effectiveness. As a result of the verification, it was found that we could remove oil components down to about 1/100.
