Solenoid application example: vending machine display shutter
Introducing an example of applying the KPS type solenoid (keep solenoid) to the display shutter.
Here is an example of applying the KPS type solenoid (keep solenoid) to a display shutter. It features a movable iron core of the KPS type solenoid with a dial attached that has markings written above and below. The display changes from "Stopped" to "On Sale" when the solenoid is energized. At this time, even if the energization is stopped, the display does not change due to the self-holding of the solenoid. To release the self-holding and return to the "Stopped" display, a short reverse pulse can be applied. In this case, attaching a return spring will ensure more reliable operation. As seen in previous solenoids, there is no need to continue energizing, resulting in power savings. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
