For odor control in casting processes and foundries, odor control consultation and deodorizing equipment using microgel deodorants are recommended.

The main sources of odors in the casting process are the odors from cores and low-pressure casting machines. ★Key Points of Odor Control Measures★ 1. Odor Components: Phenols, aldehyde-type odors (exhaust odors from the casting process) 2. Gas Characteristics: High humidity, presence of dust (smoke) 3. Odors have spread to a wide residential area 4. Since exhaust is being released from multiple ventilation fans rather than local exhaust, it is unclear where to implement measures 5. Desire to keep costs as low as possible In foundries, phenolic and aldehyde-type odors are generated along with smoke from the molds during the casting process. Complaints regarding these odor substances have arisen at a certain foundry. However, due to the large size of the factory building and the leakage of odors from multiple ventilation outlets rather than local exhaust, there was a request for consultation on how to address the issue.
