Compression spring SUS304-WPBΦ1.2 pump spring

It is a specification for press-fitting a fixing shaft into the seat roll section.

Material: Spring stainless steel wire - SUS304-WPB Wire diameter: Φ1.2 The ends of a compression spring are called "seat coils." Typically, seat coils consist of one turn each, with the ends attached to the adjacent coils. (This is referred to as a closed end.) This spring has three turns of seat coil on one side only. To press-fit a fixing shaft into this seat coil section, the inner diameter tolerance of the seat coil section is managed at +0.2, -0. The opposite side (the front side) has a standard one-turn seat coil. If you have any issues with springs, please feel free to consult us. Our technical staff will respond carefully. Twisted spring SWP-BΦ2.6 hinge spring

We manage the opposing angle of the arm with a dedicated inspection jig.

Material: Piano wire type B, SWP-B Wire diameter: Φ2.6 Formed using a multi-forming machine. Since the opposing angle of the left and right arms is important, we have created a dedicated inspection jig to manage the angle. If you have any issues with springs, please feel free to contact us. Compression spring bolt screwing spring fixation

The spring is used by screwing it into an M10 bolt.

Material: Piano wire type A, SWP-A Wire diameter: Φ1.5 The terminal on the right side of the spring is a tightly wound 5-turn coil. The inner diameter is managed to allow for smooth screwing of an M10 bolt. The method of screwing a bolt into a tightly wound coil is sometimes used for fixing springs. By changing the wire diameter and coil inner diameter, the feel when screwing (such as smoothly like assembling a nut, or a bit tighter while applying some resistance) can be freely controlled. We will create a prototype based on your request for your evaluation. The terminal on the left side is an open-end with a pitched coil. Our company handles the manufacturing, design, and prototyping of springs. Our technical staff will respond carefully, so please feel free to consult us if you have any concerns. Tension spring with special hook

We also accommodate hook shapes that are outside of JIS standards.

Material: Piano wire type A, SWP-A Wire diameter: Φ3.5, right hook only Φ5.0 Both hooks are shapes not specified by JIS standards. The left hook is shaped like a reverse round hook, which is pinched inward before the U-hook is raised. The right hook is a longer version of the pinched round hook. A thicker hook than the body is processed to prevent it from slipping out and is incorporated inside the body. (For information on the pinched round hook, please refer to the related links.) Our company handles the manufacturing, design, and prototyping of tension springs. Please feel free to consult us if you have any concerns. Tsuruoka Spring Co., Ltd. Compression spring open end

The end shapes of compression springs are "closed end" and "open end."

The typical type is a closed end, where the tip of the coil at the end is in contact with the next coil. This single turn at the end is called a "seat coil" (zamaki). The seat coil serves to improve the stability of the spring when it is upright, but it does not have any functional role as a spring. The turns that function as a spring are those excluding the seat coil, and the number of turns that effectively function as a spring is referred to as the effective number of turns. The spring in the photo is an atypical "open end." The tip of the coil at the end is not in contact with the next coil, creating a gap (indicated by the arrow). The seat coils at both ends are less than one turn, resulting in fewer seat coils compared to a closed end. The reason for deliberately adopting a non-typical open end is mainly in the following cases: 1) When you do not want to change the spring constant (want to keep the effective number of turns fixed), and 2) When you want to keep the height at which the spring is in contact low (want to reduce the total number of turns). While reducing the seat coils may worsen the stability of the spring, it allows you to maintain the spring constant while keeping the contact height low.
