They expressed a desire to monitor the frequency and occurrence time of abnormal trends and prioritize responses to abnormalities for greater efficiency. However, they were concerned about the high costs of wiring abnormal signals from each control panel to the office. Therefore, we proposed our "LoRa wireless device." This allows for monitoring abnormal trends without any additional wiring work. Furthermore, by wiring a lamp and buzzer to the office's IoT gateway, they can be immediately informed of any abnormalities, and notifications can also be sent via email. We will introduce a development case of creating a prototype for a power-saving Arduino-compatible device.

SOLUTION Co., Ltd. provides solutions to IoT challenges through open-source hardware. As a development case, we created a prototype of a low-power Arduino-compatible device that operates on nano mA for battery power, using a SigFox shield, and conducted data collection experiments in mountainous areas without electricity. After the experiment, we integrated the SigFox shield, sensor shield, and CPU onto a single board, powered by a solar panel (outsourced). The collected data is sent to a rental VPS for a few hundred yen per month, allowing for data collection from IoT devices and web display. We register an email address from the web interface to send alert emails in case of data anomalies.
