[Installation Example] Treatment of Antimony-Containing Wastewater
Applicable for the removal of boron, fluorine, and phosphorus! We will introduce examples of Terasuto filling tower installations.
At Kawasaki Sankou Kasei Co., Ltd., guidance was received from Shiga Prefecture, and a request for consideration was made to a certain famous wastewater treatment manufacturer. However, due to the need for a vast installation area with the coagulation sedimentation method, along with a large amount of sludge generation and construction costs amounting to several tens of millions of yen, they abandoned the idea. As a result, they introduced a TerraSt filling tower, which is mixed with active aluminum ions, where antimony co-sediments with the active aluminum ions. After the introduction, the raw water concentration of 0.07 mg/L was reduced to 0.01 mg/L, and the introduction cost was reduced to several million yen. 【Case Study】 ■ Before Introduction - The coagulation sedimentation method requires a vast installation area. - A large amount of sludge is generated, resulting in construction costs of several tens of millions of yen. ■ After Introduction - The raw water concentration of 0.07 mg/L was reduced to 0.01 mg/L. - This method was able to reduce the introduction cost to several million yen. *Excerpt from the "Water Treatment Technology Case Studies for Small and Medium Enterprises" published by the Kinki Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
