450mm wafer transport system

It can be used for high-speed transport of 450mm wafers. By using a traveling axis, we propose strokes according to the number of ports in the cassette. Adopting AC servo motors, it transports at high speed and high precision through optimized motion trajectories. Bernoulli chucks can be installed (optional). The Z-axis (elevation axis) can accommodate up to 500mm. By employing a traveling axis, it can access 4 FOUPs (450mm wafers) at high speed. Load capacity: Equivalent to 5kgf at the third joint of the arm (including chuck and workpiece). The use of a twin arm reduces wafer exchange time. The wall-mounted traveling axis achieves a low pass line. It is equipped with a motion monitor. Control method: RS232C and parallel photo I/O. S-curve acceleration and deceleration control allows for high-speed, high-precision transport of wafers. It can accommodate optimal chucks tailored to the transported items and equipment layout. Chuck materials can be various, including CFRP, aluminum, and ceramics. It uses AC servo motors with built-in absolute encoders on all axes.

【New!】In the new design for April 2025, the connection between the carriage and the belt has been integrated, resulting in a uniform height for attaching fixtures and equipment to the carriage assembly. With an expanded selection of drive shaft diameters, the options for drive configurations have increased for each system size. Additionally, the 44-612 system equipped with Ø40mm bearings and the 76-799 system have been added to the lineup. The DTS+ transport system incorporates key features from Hepco Motion's curved PRT track system and the original DTS, with the carriage firmly connected to the drive belt. The connected carriage does not detach from the belt, allowing for greater driving force transmission compared to the original DTS conveyor system. While the original DTS is suitable for many applications, the DTS+ is ideal for high-load, vertical applications, or when equipment needs to be integrated into available space within the track circuit, which required caution with the original DTS.

[Case Study] Pipe High-Frequency Device Transport System

Introduction of a pipe high-frequency device transportation system featuring transportation + high-frequency input + stacked storage!

We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of the "Pipe High-Frequency Device Conveying System" at Company T in Gifu Prefecture. Pipes arranged in a stocker are taken out two at a time using inward-opening claws and conveyed to a conveyor with a feeding device (manufactured in-house). The feeding hand then transfers them to a high-frequency annealing device (manufactured by Yoshida Machinery) for high-frequency hardening, after which they are returned to the conveyor. After cooling and conveying, a robot retrieves the pipes and stacks them in the stocker.
