We have manufactured a radio heliograph device for the Nobeyama Solar Radio Observatory of the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan. This antenna is designed to observe the solar surface, and by arranging a total of 84 parabolic antennas with a diameter of 800 mm in a T-shape over an area of 490 m east-west and 250 m north, it achieves performance equivalent to a 500 m diameter antenna. This is an interferometer antenna system installed on the rooftop of Komagane Technical High School in Nagano Prefecture at the request of the National Astronomical Observatory. Conducting interferometric observations using multiple small antennas to achieve the performance of a large-diameter antenna is a first in Japan for a technical high school.
